Nike Forged Blades - GREAT Irons

These clubs are great clubs for a lower handicap golfer & some higher handicaps like them just as well. If you have ever owned or hit a set of Ben Hogan blades that you liked then you will definitely like these as Tom Stites is the designer of these NIKE blades & was also Hogans designer for many years until he signed exclusively with NIKE.

These irons have a classic look and feel to them just as the Hogans do. If you are considering switching from a set of cavity back irons to a set of forged blades just consider that a true blade is not as forgiving on off-center shots as a cavity back iron, although they are not bad either. When hit pure I have found these NIKE blades to be longer than my PING i3 "Blades", if you want to call the pings a blade. The NIKE blades are small irons, no offset and almost no bounce, but if you hit it pure there is no better feel in my opinion and they offer a world of difference in ball control and shot shaping.

One of the main differences golfers will realize is that the NIKE blades have more loft on the irons, roughly 2-3 degrees more in each club throughout the set than most any other brand, which will equate to a slight loss in distance for most players. If that is an issue there is always the option I took of adjusting the loft in a proper loft & lie machine to your desired loft. If you choose this route make SURE the person adjusting your clubs is experienced in working with forged irons as they are more sensitive to manipulation.

All in all, This is a first rate forged iron, great feel, great control and if forged blades is what you are looking for then there are no "cons" to owning a set of these!

I'm a high handicapper who switched to Nike Blades and have been thankful. Hitting them is like taking a pro lesson. You learn instantly where you're making contact, and by the 3rd hole I had changed my setup and was hitting consistent high, straight, and long shots.

I gave up on Callaways, Titleists, and Adams irons for these, and I'd never go back.

They feel like butter when you hit them square, and they're the best looking irons in the world.
