I am a single digit handicapper and purchased the fairway wood because I had bought the Sasquatch Driver and wanted a matched set. I guess the motivation wasn't based on performance. My previous woods were the Taylor made 300 series line of clubs. I ended up buying a Sasquatch 3 wood and then adding a 3+ wood and thoroughly love these clubs. They are very easy to hit and have very consistent ball flight with great distances. I get about 230 yards with the 3 wood and an extra 15 to 20 yards more with the 3+ wood. Reaching those longer par 5's have been a little easier and more accurate as of late. I would definitely recommend these clubs to anyone from novice to above average playing abilities. I'm 64 years old with a pacemaker/defibrillator and a bad back. My handicap index is a 5.5 and still can hit aro 260-270 yards. I accidentally received a 3 Regular than a Stiff from an EBAY bid and decided to keep the Regular. This was the best golf club decision I have made. This Sasquatch 3 wood with the expensive Mitsubishi Diamana Shaft turned my long game around. My confidents in other 3 woods-and I have had them all- was waining and decided to go with 16-19 degree Hybrids. Let me tell you, after hitting the Nike Sasquatch 3 wood, I ended up selling the 16 and 19 degree Hybrids. The club is very forgiving, hits great from heavy rough and tight lies. I get up to 250 yard drives off the tee and very straight. Mishits still go a long way. I don't know why the Callaway X Fairway wood was picked over the Nike Sasquatch, because I owned the Callaway X Fairway wood and find that the Nike Sasquatch Fairwood with the Diamana Shaft is far better in every aspect of the game. I have owned many brands of woods and right now I am really liking Nike's SQ line of fairway woods. The Shaft is what makes this club! I have owned, Callaway, Cleveland, Ping, Adams, and Nike clubs. I currently carry a Nike SQ Tour Driver, Nike SQ 3 wood, an Adams A3 hybrid (with an Adilia NV Proto shaft my fav. club). Nike Sling Shot Tour Irons, and Cleveland CG 11 Wedges. With A Scotty Cameron Putter. I played golf in Highschool and College. I have compaired this Nike SQ fairway wood, to my Cleveland Launcher Tour set and hit the Nike better. You cant beat either of thoes clubs for the price. I would recomend Nike stuff to just about anyone. The club is fantastic. I figured the next step was to buy a 3 wood. I decieded to buy the Nike Sasquatch and have been very pleased with it. The distance is just great when hit properly.
