Nightmare Before Christmas: Special Edition (CD, Oct-2006, 2 Discs, Walt Disney Records)

This special 2 CD set; with 3D graphics on the front to go along with the Nightmare Before Christmas Movie in 3D is of course, wonderful.

But, I am a Nightmare Before Christmas fan.:)

Disc one has the entire movie score with 20 tracks.

Disc two has nine additional tracks including 'This is Halloween' by Marilyn Manson. While I am not a huge Manson fan, he did do a great job on this.

The additional tracks are different renditions of; 'Sally's Song' by Fiona Apple, 'What's This' by Fall Out Boy, 'Kidnap The Sandy Claws' by She Wants Revenge, 'This Is Halloween' by Panic! At The Disco, 'Making Christmas (Demon)' by Danny Elfman, 'Oogie Boogie's Song (Demo) by Danny Elfman, 'This Is Halloween (Demo)' by Danny Elfman, 'Kidnap The Sandy Claws (Demo)' by Danny Elfman. Disc one is over an hour long, Disc two, right around 30 minutes.

While disc one provides the ability to listen to the movie all over again, disc two is such a treat with more really cool Nightmare music.

I have 4 kids, we are all Nightmare Fans and this CD is bound to be one of our favs. I was able to get a new disc on ebay for under $15 delivered.
