A wonderful, fantastic horror novel, well worth reading

This book was eventually turned into a movie called Nightbreed. The movie I don't often say, is just as good as the book, but like most, its best to read the book, then watch the movie. It revolves around a man with haunting and disturbing dreams which he doesn't realize are actually a sign for something bigger and sinister. Its a wonderful movie, but the book is just awesome, as all Clive Barker novels, they hit home fast, and with tasteful, purposeful erotic and sickening wonderfulness.
The images the book conjurs up in your mind is a wonderful escape and is a very beleivable story, even though its obviously a 'joyride' of fiction, it is fun to forget reality and let Clive Barker take you on another of his wonderful rides. I read this when I was very young, and saw the movie when I was about 13, and will never forget it, just make sure you read it at night, or watch the movie at night with a candle going, (makes it more enjoyable).
Summing up, A+++++, and without giving away too much of the plot, (don't read on if you dont want to hear this part), it centralizes around a man suffering mental sleep disorders, and has dreams of a nightmare world where horrors take place, but as the story unfolds, its not really a nightmare world, and his dreams are a sign for a dark horror that shows the horror of mankind, and the passion of loving without prejudice.
