This is a true classic in horror .
As a kid this low budget black and white move scared the crap out of me. Today it’s tame compared to today’s bloody .orgies of death.
The difference is the mood and the story telling. The starkness of the black and white film creates a feeling that color can’t.
This movie is the Godfather of all Zombies Movies. That is why nearly all zombie film after have drawn from it.
Scary does not need to be knee deep in bright red fake blood. Black and white is scaryer
