I enjoyed the series when it first aired. When I saw it on e-bay I decided to purchase to build up my dvd library.

Great spooky stories from the late 60's or early 70's. Not the slasher type but the old scary type. Looking forward to season two. Just like the Twilight Zone. Wish this type of stories would come back.

I really like that this series still looks as good as shows that are on tv now. When you purchase shows that you loved watching as a child, they can sometimes look a bit campy and cheap when viewed as an adult. Not so with this one. This set is still entertaining and very well done!

After many years of trying to catch these episodes here and there, I can finally watch them all and with no commercials! More often than not, I would fall asleep on the couch while trying to watch them on late night TV, that no longer means I can't see what happened! The pilot episode is simply one of the coolest stories ever (I'd like to buy a painting like the one in that episode!!), and most of the others are very good to excellent, although generally not quite as good as Twilight Zone, which had more direct Rod Serling involvement. The relative crudeness of the studio techniques of the era lends greatly to the charm of this series, as does the "old" looking color filming and crazy '70s clothing! Highly recommended, I'm looking forward to getting Seasons 2 & 3!

I grew up on this stuff, and while the stories are quite frequently of the cheesy variety, these Night Gallery episodes really send me back to my youth and leave me craving more! Highly recommended viewing.

The reason I purchased this dvd was because the show reminds me of my childhood. This was a show that the whole family used to sit down and watch together. The packaging was beautiful, and the visual was good. However, the audio could be improved, especially with todays technology. Looking forward to season two and three coming out on dvd.

Fans of the twighlight zone will love night gallery!!Rod Serling presents 20 episodes of terror in this first season!Classic TV at its best!Good stories and plots that will have you wanting more!This is a got to get if you like short,creepy stories.

I was under the assumption they had used the master print, the film to DVD copy had scratches and pops. It wasn't really bad but it was noticeable. Nevertheless I did enjoy the DVD set I'm hoping the second season is better though. I would enjoy seeing outtakes and some behind-the-scenes looks. If you can get this set for under $40 I would recommend it I wouldn't recommend over that though.

I love this show because I used to watch it when I was little. I found it on Ebay because I couldn't find it anywhere else.

I always liked Rod Serling.His Twilight Zone shows are classic! Night Gallery 1st season was what I expected- very good! The first story- The Cemetery is excellent! I now want to get Night Gallery The 2nd season. I expect it to be equally as good if not more!

As a child, Night Gallery was my favorite show on television(although I watched it in syndication, as I was two or three when it first debuted on NBC). I have wanted this 3 disc set since I learned of it's existence a couple of years ago. The episodes weren't as scary as I remembered them to be when I was ten, but as an adult I appreciate the brilliantly clever story lines that Rod Serling is famous for; reminiscent of his Twilight Zone days. Night Gallery only lasted 3 seasons, and I was surprised(as well as a bit brought down) to find that there are just as many memorable episodes, if not more in seasons two and three that weren't in this collection. The overly-dramatic style with which the stories are acted and the just-starting-out, pre-fame stars both acting as well as directing in many of the segments throughout ad to the appeal of the series. If you like Twilight Zone, check this out.

Whenever we get time at night, my son (who I gave this as a birthday present) makes sure my wife and I are present before he will watch the next story. I remember most of these, my wife doesn't seem to. But they are all new looking and the same feeling comes upon me as it did back then. That is soooo cool. My son loves them too. Rod Serling was the master of horror.

This series was on TV when I was in High School. We used to watch it every Monday night. In Tuesday's Englis class, the topic of discussion was last night's Night Gallery.
As it has turned out, my future son-in-law enjoyed Twilight Zone that I got for him @ Christmas a couple years ago so I figured that Rod Serling's Night Gallery might go over well also.

Night Gallery was a cut above the Twilight Zone series. Neither could match the outstanding series "Outer Limits." Both fell short in their intensity to hold the viewing audience's attention. I highly recommend the "Outer Limits" series to those who enjoyed good science fiction on television. Both the Original and New Outer Limits are worth viewing. You might want to check-out the grand daddy of all science fiction on television - "The Tales Of Tomorrow" series which ran from 1951 to 1953.

Night Gallery is wonderful. Not only is in scary, but you get to see all of your favorite actors and actresses in their younger day! Not a boring moment!!
