Night Castle * by Trans-Siberian Orchestra (CD, Oct-2009, 2 Discs, Atlantic USA)

There are so many talented people in this group, every year it continues to amaze me. This is a mix of classical with hard rock metal. They have a full chorus with both male and female vocalists. Each vocalist brings something different to the table. The guitar players are incredible and the drummer is superb! Add a full orchestra and rhythm section to this mix and you have the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. This genre of music has appeal to all ages and types of people. I highly recommend this CD along with "Beethovan's Last Night". They also do Christmas songs. I am not particularly a fan of Christmas songs, but they manner in which they do them is so refreshing and different. On the last note, it you ever have an opportunity to see them live, do it. I can't explain the magic that happens at each concert, you have to experience it yourself.

I loved the quality of the music so much. TSO in concert is a terrific experience! The show is great and will entertain people 8-80! TSO always donates 10% of ticket sales to a local charity too!

The music wonderful, Clean recordings. Beautifully done. Their music is great and this is a collection of great musicals and songs. Love to listen to them. A great addition to my collection.

I bought Night Castle because I had went to the concert before Christmas. Everytime I listen to it I am reminded of how wonderful the concert was. Music is great - lots of guitar, piano and violin. If you love classis rock, this is for you.

I love this CD. Ifyou have not had a chancce to see TBO in concert try and get to see them. THey are GREAT and well worth the $$ to see.

Night Castle is awesome. Many years in the making. Caught the Tour in Charlotte Nc in November. Man it was good. Just like this Cd. Highly Recommend.

I have to say this album is very different from the rest of TSO's albums that I have heard but I love their music cause some of its very soothing and relaxing and comforting and also heavy at times. Everyone who loves TSO should get this album.
