Nicklaus Progressive Iron set Golf Club

These irons are really solid, and easy to play. They feel very similar to forged. I really like the way the irons start out with thinner soles on the pitching wedge and progress up to a very easy to launch wide sole, deep cavity long iron. Nicklaus also uses a superb graphite shaft in these irons (Precision Rifle) which adds even more to their playability. Only draw back that I found is that they are not particularly long. I found them to be about half a club shorter than most irons I've played. However, they make up for the slight loss of distance with their playability, and high launch capabilities. Overall, these are super game improvement irons, and very fun to play with. I think any caliber of golfer could use these, including the low handicapper.

My son bought me this set for father's day.These Iron's increased my distance by 10 to 15 yards.The hybrids are excellent I have trouble with 3,4,5,woods
I now hit the 3&4 hybrids with total confidence.Highly recommend!!!!
