Nicklaus Airmax DPT 460 Driver Golf Club

I bought this driver a about a month ago and fell in love with. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

Like the guy in the 1st review, I love this driver too. The DPT construction of the face makes the difference. I have a new, 10.5* driver with regular shaft and 460CC. I bought it because 460cc is supposedly more forgiving and I was tired of slices from my Callaway Steelhead III.

I now hit the ball very straight as desired but I seem to get another 25 yards of distance too (say 250+ vs. 220-230). I am 60 so that's good for my skill. I could spend a lot more $$$ but I would not gain any more distance for the extra $$$. Got mine at auction for about $40.00 new.I clearly got my money's worth. These are not like those earlier Macgregor clubs using Jack's name.
Now I looking for another one for my son's birthday.

The 8 degree driver will keep the ball at a low trajectory ideal for the windy conditions I play in.

The club works great! I can still slice it or yank it left but I have to work harder to make it not go straight.

didnt like the grip so i replaced it. cant beat it for the price. A 460cc driver for around $40.00 is a great deal. Club hits the ball straight.

I borrowed my brother's 10.5 with a stiff shaft and easily outhit all 7 of the other guys off the first tee. My normal average is 260-270 yards, but with the force I need to put into it I am lucky to see where the ball went let alone find it if anything isn't right with my swing. After hitting this club, I passed 300 yards multiple times and averaged around 280-290 without having to use as much swing. I found it way easier to keep it online also since I was not needing to really torque the club like I do my older drivers and I would recommend this as a GREAT club for the prices you can find them on EBAY. I am waiting for mine now and have already scheduled a trip to the driving range with my boss to work on my raise. I don't think he will know what hit him.

I hit this driver more consistent and longer than my previous driver. I very pleased. It has probably taken 2 or 3 strokes of of my score. Its very easy to hit and the ball stays in the air longer with less effort. I gave around $80 for a $300 driver.
