Nick of Time (DVD, 1999, Widescreen)

This is a really good movie about a man whos young daughter is taken from him and he has to do something awful to get her back. He must choice between killing someone or letting his daughter die. Many great twist and turns during this whole movie. Christopher Walken and Johnny Depp do an awsome job in this movie. There are lots of great action scenes also through the whole movie. A++

I am a Johnny Depp fan and had not seen this movie. The idea of the plot intrigued me especially since the video time would actually cover the time given the main character to fullfill his demands to the kidnapper. It would be like living the time with Depp's character. I like the movie and am very glad I purchased it. It is one I will watch time and again because everything happens so fast that you can not catch it all in one viewing.

I purchasd this movie for two reasons:1 - It was heralded as "Hitchcockian" and 2 - Johnny Depp.

For the first reason, I was ultimately dissapointed. Although the film had a common theme that Hitchcock used, Ordinary Man drawn into Extraordinary Circumstances, it lacked the true visual genius of the master. Several attempts were made but few succeeded such as the clock sequence.

However, if your a Johnny Depp fan, this film will not dissapoint you. His performance as usual is superb. Christopher Walken also delivers a chilling performance as the "bad guy".

Nick Of Time is a riveting action film starring Johnny Depp and Christopher Walken. The DVD Paramount has released is slim on extras, but the film is the best feature of all that this DVD could offer. You have to see Nick Of Time, definitly worth a rental.

This movie somehow slipped under the radar, but it's fantastic. Johnny Depp really plays the neurotic with skill. Christopher Walken is...well...Christopher Walken. Certain points play a little odd, but, overall, this is a great thriller.

Movie is in excellent condition; I have checked it out completely. This is a movie for anyone who likes "edge-of-your-seat" action and plot twists

I not only was able to finish my collection of Johnny Depp's movies but I recived "In the Nick of Time" so quickly it was almost as though I went to the store to buy it, yet I didn't have to wait in any lines or deal with pushy, rude people. Thank you for sending my item so quickly, I am getting ready to sit and watch it now! Of course I've got popcorn!!!LOL

Although its not the best movie I've ever seen, or even the best movie with Johnny Depp. It was definitely a movie worth watching. It was sweet, sad, and it will keep you wondering the entire way through. I am glad I purchased it, and will watch it again...soon. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Call this a sleeper cause it is a good,fast paced movie that did not get the attention I think it deserves. Good tension building, bringing you up & down & keeps you wondering. Lets us all know who actually is the power force in our society.

Johnny Depp is excellent actor in protraying different types of characters. In this story he plays a father trying to protect his daughter. My family and I enjoyed Nick of Time, it was a good thriller.

I bought this dvd because it was a good deal for a dvd. Unfortunitly I never recieved it. Seller took my money and never sent dvd. Tried to contact three times. Contacted Ebay and they sent back "oh you need to contact the seller" yeah I did that. Not happy with transaction. Didn't get refunded!!!

I liked this movie because it was intense and suspenseful, and you didn't see everything coming as it came. I like the fact that it's only 88 minutes. I like shorter movies anyway because they tend to drag on less, and the fact that it's set in real time is a good reason to get the plot delivered well and quickly. Another obvious perk is that Johnny Depp and Chrsitopher Walken are incredible actors. Johnny Depp is especially great in this movie in my opinion. And that's why I decided to buy Nick of Time.
