Nice Dreads by Lonnice Brittenum Bonner (2005, Paperback)

This book helps one feel good about the necessary steps to grow dreads. I was on the plane and told a woman about this book. It is fantastic.

I was first recommended this book by a friend who was loc'ing her hair. I checked the book out from the public library and found it an easy read. After reading it once I checked it out again then decided to purchase it from Ebay.
It is definitely an EASY read. It doesn't matter if you're just starting out loc'ing or highly engaged into it already......granted most of this information can be found on the internet BUT it takes quite a bit of searching so I do appreciate it that it has been neatly and conveniently compiled into one decent sized book. I am happy to have it in my book collection.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is thinking about or in the process of locking their hair. It has several websites, basic hair care and product information like nothing else I've read. I initially obtained the book at the library and decided to purchase it after getting such significant tips from the book.
