Next (DVD, 2007)

A mediocre Las Vegas magician named Chris Johnson (Cage) can see into the future--but only about two minutes at the most. Just enough to pull off his act and to make some money at the gambling tables, so long as he's discreet. Unfortunately, he hasn't been discreet enough; a government agent (Julianne Moore) has sussed out his precognitive talent and wants to use him to track down terrorists. But all Johnson cares about is a beautiful young woman that he can see in his future--much further in his future than he's ever seen before. Next has flashes that point to a much, much better movie than it turned out to be. Still, worth the watch.

Next-and that's just where it leaves you! Of course Nicholas Cage is superb in his role as usual and so is everyone else. The theme of the movie is very interesting and special effects great--I liked the movie and it kept my every moment attention, but that ending HAS TO GO! Movie is well worth watching for entertainment, but I don't think I would buy it!

I liked the movie when I rented it one of those you dont mind seeing again so I bought it off of e-bay:)

A truly captivating film, in which the main character Nicholas Cage, is a Las Vegas performer with the ability to see 2 minutes into 'his' future. A wonderful movie that has had me wondering about 'what if', I were able to have this ability. I wanted this movie for my own collection, like no other. I've watched it at least once a week since I've gotten it.

What was like about this flick? it was simply brain charging suspense, with a dash of Camelot. Nickolas Cage can put you in mind as a brother we all wish we had in our own respective families, as well as in ourselves. this fine actors career in movies has been demean as superb...noted as "King of Kool".

I bought this Next Dvd as a xmas gift. I love the ease of ebay shopping, no crowds, no waisting gas and time!!. I will happiliy purchase from sellers with reasonable shipping fees and excellent raitings. I will not purchase from a seller who says they will leave negative feedback if you leave them negative feedback.

Certainly no cerebral action thriller, but Nicolas Cage does deliver plenty of excitement in this see in the future heart pounding action adventure with a love interest thrown in for the women.

I'M NOT CRAZY ABOUT NICOLAS CAGE, BUT HE WAS EXCELLENT IN THIS MOVIE. GREAT PLOT AND LOTSA ACTION. NORMALLY WE KNOW WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN BUT THIS FLICK WAS FULL OF TURNS AND SURPRISES. I ENJOYED IT WHEN I WATCHED IT FOR THE SECOND TIME.

I like this movie because it deals with time travel from a present to future perspective. Most time travel story deal with time from a future past perspective.

Good casting, fast action, keeps you glued to your seat. You never know what you will see next...Nicholas Cage and Julianne Moore make stunning performances. It has a surprise ending, leaving you with a feeling that it
could go on and on. Nicholas Cage wishes it would stop. At a certain time each
day, he gets a premonition of a disaster in the making.

THIS IS A TERRIFIC ACTION MOVIE HIGHLY RECOMMEND. LOT OF ACTION AS ALWAYS NICOLAS CAGE IS GREAT. IT IS UNUSUAL BECAUSE HE CAN SEE THE FUTURE

I like this movie. All action with thought provoking ideals of do over. But like all gifts it has down sides.
Over all it entertains the mind and sprit.

I am a huge Cage fan, well, of most of his movies anyway. But this one keeps you on your toes and at the end, you find yourself saying "what the hell!"

just enough action. i really enjoyed this movie. it had a great story and had just the right amount of action. i recomend it. but it, you'll like it!

Great movie from phillip K dick (redeye etc) nickolas cage has the power to see the future only 2 minutes at a time , the movie shows differant scenerios as he chooses a differant options .
If you leave the room make SURE you pause the dvd ,or things wont make sense !
This is riviting , the best movie I saw in a while !!

I thought this movie had a great original story, Jessica is hott, Cage does his usual best. This movie was good, it didn't leave you with the sense it could have been better like so many recent titles. This movie was only $5, I could have paid more and still been completely satisfied. If you like movies with action and adventure, and an unusual idea, you love NEXT.

The first time I saw this movie I didn't entirely "get" the movie, but it intrigued me. I've seen it about 5 times now and I love it! It's that kind of movie. Next, is very fast, interesting, funny, and intense all at the same time. Cage is at his best... thus, I bought it so I can watch it again and again.

If you are a Nic Cage fan, you must have this movie! One of his best movies ever. It will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time!

I thought this was an excellent movie and full of non stop action. Nicolas Cage is great and sexy as always. The movie went so fast. It ended suddenly. It wasn't a good ending. It was like someone turned the movie off in the middle of it. I expected and wanted more. A part 2 would be appropriate.

What a fun roller coaster ride..Nicholas Cage plays a physic who can see only 2 mins into the future which complicates things for a FBI Agent who wants his help..Watch as Cage plays the usual muddled, but lovable character..action lovers and thrill seekers will love the jaw dropping scenes and the ending is to die for..great storyline, fantastic script, memorable characters, superb acting this movie has it all!! I give this film 5 ut of 5 bars!

Excellent film. if you like science fiction, this is for you. I found the movie both entertaining and held my attention. Well acted.
