In Elm Creek, nothing is more important than family and friends. In this newest book in the series, Sylvia and Andrew are late in life newly weds. Sylvia is trying her best to build a bond with her daughter-in-law Amy, who believes that their Christmas marriage was a big mistake. Looking back on past festivities, Sylvia must convince Amy that family is a precious gift and should not be ignored. In order for her to communicate that message to Amy, Sylvia resumes a quilt that she had long abandoned and plans to present it as a gift to her new daughter-in-law. In the process of sewing the pieces, she is hit with a lifetime of memories.
A beautifully written book by Ms. Chiaverini! Very sweet and touching with the adage that no one is alone when they carry their love ones in their hearts.

as always with Jennifer Chiaverini books they are easy and delight to read, draws you into each character and also reminds you of someone you might know and about life in general. Highly recommend any of the book series to read. Caution not a lot of work gets done once the book is started and it doesn't seem to take very long to finish it either.

This authors books are about things that I am interested in. I love the way she writes and will gladley buy any and all of her books that come my way. I like buying on ebay as I usually feel that I get a good price on all of the items that I have purchased....Judy

The New Years QuiltI love this series of stories, Jennifer Chiaverini is a good story teller and helps one to get to know each of her characters in her books. The details of the women's capabilities in the quilting process makes one want to go out and buy fabric and join in the fun.

A really good seller for Large Print Books! Hard to find used for my Mother-in-Law who is in a Nursing Home, but still loves to read! Thank you very much for such a quick response!

Great book, one of 11 or 12 in the Elm Creek Quilter's series. (Start with Quilter's Apprentice and work your way through) Loved each book, and was sorry to be done. The author really gets you involved with the characters, and journeys through the timelines and generations of quilters. Really great books.
