Great ideas - A little sketchy on the instructions

I recently held a retreat to make this quilt with my veteran quilting friends. We loved the design but honestly we had to have some brainstorming to be clear on what we were we were to do - especially on the cutting/layering and repositioning to make it a larger quilt. There also is "a lot" of waste of fabric and tons of pinning.
The final product is beautiful if you put in the effort though. Definitely not for a middle of the road quilter. Expertise is needed.

I bought this book because I am interested in different types of quilting and art wear than the traditional patterns. I can't wait to use this book. You really need her First book before you use this book (the first book is basic and this one is more advanced). She has wonderful ideas and information in this book.
