A Gamecube classic, but is it worth the price?

Firstly, know that if you've already played Pikmin for the Gamecube there's not much new here, except for the controls. I would have preferred if Nintendo put both Pikmin and Pikmin 2 on the disc. I certainly would not have paid the full $30 for this game (which is why I bought it on ebay). But I suppose they will release Pikmin 2 with new play control later to make more money, since leeching the pockets of loyal fans is Nintendo's new business model.
That said, Pikmin is still a great game, and as an RTS game the point-and-click interface works wonderfully with the Wii's controls (which makes you wonder where Pikmin 3 is). And although the game is fairly linear with a 30 "day" (basically a fifteen minute mission) time constraint, there is some replay value as its always fun to go back and try to beat your best time.
For those who never played Pikmin on Gamecube, I'd give this a 5/5 excellent. If you've already played the game however, I can't recommend it unless you find a good deal on a used copy. Nothing new here to justify the $30, in my opinion.
