A New Leaf (VHS, 1992)

The condition of the film is excellent, which pleased us to no end. This is an extremely difficult film to find and has a lot of meaning to our family. So we have enjoyed this and passed it on to the others in the family and had it returned and enjoyed it some more. Thank you so much for having films that aren't easy to find. This is a film that my late father in law enjoyed with my mother in law and everytime she talks about it she gets laughing so hard and her eyes light up, you know she's remembering the good times. How do you put a price on that?

This is a very under rated film. The characters are very well played. Walter Mathau can always be depended on to make an entertaining movie, which this was highly entertaining. Elaine May is a good actress as she is a good director. She should have made more movies. A New Leaf has always been one of my favorites and I still enjoy it very much.

Walter Matthau and Elaine May are excellent in this funny, funny film. It's an older movie without a "message" and is thoroughly entertaining, especially if you are familar with the Lake George, N.Y. area. I have spent much time there and can thoroughly appreciate the climate, bugs, and camping experiences! It took me three tries to finally get this movie through eBay since the the other two times I was ripped off. Once it was never sent from Canada, and the second time from the U.S. it had the right cover but the wrong film inside. I guess the third time was it! I was almost afraid to play it. Well worth it though. I love the movie.

The characters in this movie are ones that will be remembered for years after it is viewed. Mathau and May excell in their roles, and the suppoting cast is wonderful also. It's one of my favorites, and I highly recommend it.

I am unable to review this film as although I won the auction, and paid PayPal $24.50 for the VHS Tape, I NEVER RECEIVED THE GOODS .I warn anyone I know NOT to buy on ebay, as I just seem to have lost my money.
