I enjoyed this movie, as did my kids. Pippi comes to town with her monkey and her horse, and takes up residence in her parents' old house. She somehow avoids law enforcement, the local orphanage, and several near catastrophes. A note of caution, your kids may want to wear scrub brushes and mop the kitchen floor with skates after watching this one!
