This is a great expansion to the hit game Neverwinter nights 2. It almost could be considered a stand alone new game aside from needing the original nwn2 to run it. It has a great depth of gameplay and adds lots of new features and character choices for the role playing game enthusiasts. Mask of the betrayer not only enhances previous successful features of nwn2 but also fixes some gameplays issues missed by previous patches. If you enjoyed Neverwinter nights 2 I highly recommend this expansion as it refines an already great game and its mechanics but also ushers in the imminent third installment to this franchise well.

If you love to play online - this is the game for you. it contain great mechanism for loot, you can also have a lot of fun in mods and other ads-ons.

If you loved NWN2, Mask of the Betrayer is for you. It's got another grand, epic adventure, this time with a new set of companions and a new influence system. The ability to get to Epic levels allows you to unleash devastating new attacks and spells, and there are virtually no bugs. Top-notch writing and acting compliment the entire experience. The only con I found while playing this game is the Spirit Meter, which gradually depletes and only refills when you do certain actions (no spoilers here!). It lends you a sense of urgency but doesn't allow you enough time to fully explore all the areas of a game, as you always want to keep moving before it gets to 0 (at which point you die). All in all, this is a worthy successor to the NWN2 franchise and a good continuation of the story from NWN2...unlike Storm of Zehir.
