Nevada Gardener's Guide by Dick Post, Linn Mills (2005, Paperback, Revised)

Finally a book that takes in our diverse climates. We are mostly desert with mountains and trees in the north and east. The north has cold and snow in winter while the south only freezes a couple of times a year. This book would have benefitted from dividing the states into climate zones ala Sunset Western Garden. Cactus soes not thrive in the north. We have more of a midwest climate and with water can grow beautiful yards with or without lawns. The south uses more water conservative landscaping. A good book never the less.
