Nespresso Essenza C100 Espresso Machine & Coffee Maker

Greetings, Nespresso markets itself as a very up market high-end luxury brand worldwide. The crux of which being Swiss quality and Swiss made.

We got a rude shock when we got the delivery of our much-awaited coffee machine when we saw that it was actually made in China. We inquired and when we insisted that they show us their demo machine we realized there was something fishy about the whole deal.

The demo machine is in fact made in Switzerland and the machine that we actually bought is made in China. When we bought this to the attention of the Nestle guys here they conveniently said they are not aware of this and when raised to the next level as per them both the machines are the same irrespective of their country of origin!!!! This is funny coming from a Swiss company, how would you feel your Rolex dealer, which is again a high end up market luxury brand telling you that….

Also when we spoke to the delivery man here as per him this is how they do it and have sold quite a few pieces in the market and I am sure this is how they do it in lot of the other countries where this machine is sold and guess what both are the same price!!!!

Hope you guys will take this forward and make the general public aware of the same….

I had a previous incarnation of a Nespresso espresso machine years ago. I loved IT, and spent beau coups every month on one of their 'subscription' pod plans. After a few years, it died and I thought I was maybe a larger account to them than THEY did: as a result of this hubris, I grandstanded and told them that I would continue with my monthly input into their caffeinated coffers if they would but GIVE me a new machine. Well, they declined graciously and as a result I have been without their excellent product these past 4 years. I've become a Starbucks addict partially as a result, so Howard Schultz has been enriched by my $ instead of Nespresso. I've reflected on their business plan over the years--one that's similar to a lot of companies in that there's no 'wheeling and dealing' with established clientele at all. I've come to no conclusion, save that the world is a strange place indeed.

Think I'll make myself another espresso. All the best...

The coffee machine is okay, brews good coffee, the buying experience was fine too, it takes time to watch your item, which is a little bit hard, if you do not spend the whole day at your computer. I've placed several different bids, and eventually bought coffee machine, that was not my first choice, but promissed discount was not applied. I've used a coupon code that somehow never worked. I've used an internet coupon 10% off for using suggested payment option, I supposed to get 10 % subtracted on the purchase, unfortunately it never happened and I was charged the whole amount on my credit card. I called given on my purchase receipt number, left three messages before getting an e-mail (more then two weeks later) Just yesterday I've received an e-mail that it should've been done by EBay. I do not know where to take this issue, there is no phone number to call, nobody to talk to. This spoils the whole experience. Sincerely, Marina Beylin

One of the hotels we stayed at had this machine in our room. My wife raved about the quality of the espresso, and dropped a not too subtle hint that she'd love one for Christmas. So I bought it and she's very happy with the machine. She now makes espresso at home instead of running out to Starbucks every day.

The only drawback was with the US Postal Service - it took then nine days to ship from Florida to Chicago, and the delivery missed arriving in time for Christmas.

He used my money and i have never received anything. Where is my Nespresso Essenza C100 Espresso Machine? I have paid for for it. It is very unfair!

Had checked out this product at a local retailer in our city. Tried a sample of the espresso from the machine and loved it. The price was $249. It was a good price, but I wanted to see if it was on Ebay. I bid on the same machine for 2/3 less the price of the one in the store. The machine works great and I make a lot of espresso and Lungo. I would check ebay first before you pay full price. Ebay does a great job making sure the products you buy is from trusted sellers.

I love this machine. I use it at work. Easy to operate, yet make fabulous coffee without the mess. I'm still tasting the different capsules. It's a bit more pricey than other coffee maker but it's worth it.

We love our Nespresso! We first used one while visiting friends in Paris, and we had to have one for our home. It is easy to use, makes wonderful espresso and there are 16 varieties of coffee to choose from. It is noisy, but that's a small price to pay for quick and delicious cup of espresso or cappuccino. I love that there is no measuring, tamping or cleaning up finely ground espresso beans. A real winner.

Our friends and relatives have all purchased Nespresso coffee makers and we love them. We have purchased this model and others made by Nespresso...they are all great.

Very good service, fast and the machine is perfect. I like the coffe made with this machine, I'm italian and I know what I'm talking about.

My husband and I discovered the Nespresso espresso machine while vacationing overseas as our host provided one for our use while renting an apartment for our stay. We fell in love with the machine and decided that we would purchase one of our own when returning home. The Nespresso machine is so easy to use and even easier to clean. The Nespresso espresso is delicious and in the long run much cheaper than a coffee shop.

This is our third Nespresso machine and our second purchased on Ebay. We have one at our home, vacation home and our weekender houseboat. The convenience of making great lattes at home is only outweighed by the cost savings.

My neighbor had one, then my parents bought one, and I was so amazed by this machine i had to buy one. It's worth every cent!

If you like coffee, you will love this Espresso Machine. It was recommended to us by friends in France. It is easy to use. It is quick to use. It produces the perfect cup of long or short espresso, every time, and coupled with a decent frother, you will have the best Cappuccino you can dream off. We have used a Pavoni (classic Italian Espresso Machine) for the past 18 years, but now stands mostly idle as a decor piece on the kitchen counter. We bought one Nespresso, then came back and bought a 2nd as a gift to friends.

It was the best purchase in 2009 so far. The machine was delivered very fast and working properly. All my doubts were cleared out way before the end of the bid.

Even though it was re-furbished, the machine has proved to be easy to use and functions perfectly, easy clean-up, as well. No problems at all - and makes superb coffee.

We bought 2 nespresso machines, and both has a problem, one come in durty and the other one drips coffe all the time after a operation. I contact the seller and they said to me to contact NEspresso direct, but didn't give me any other information, don't even email address or phone number (sorry they did sent a phone# was the one I contacted)who I have to contact, really pass the problem to them. I contact one of the Nespresso division and never got any answer.
Is my fault, as a good customer you from this web, I believe the other side will be good too, but unfortunate I am Not using Ebay anymore for a products you can not return, is stupid! Also i had a similar problem from Amazon.com and they took a good care returned my money, so In this cases, I will use Amazon from now on. Authough was a second hand products, but almost with a price of brand new product, I was wrong and is my mistake to believe on them.
