Nespresso D150 Espresso Machine

Nespresso makes great espresso, or nespresso pods as they call them, that are exlusively used through their nespresso machines and only able to be purchased through their online shop. This exclusivity is okay, because their coffee is outstanding. Their shipping is light speed, and the customer service is top notch. We were having difficutly cleaning one of their machines, and the rep slowly walked us through the process and found what we were doing wrong. They've never had an error on an order, and the machines work very well.

This particular machine is very good. It consistenly makes hot espresso, is easy to use, and it is affordable. The problem we had was that the thermostat seeminlgy blew out when we changed the dial from "brew" to "off" midway through a brew by accident. This caused it to not work for some time, and we bought a new machine. The older machine had been used for about a couple of years, so we didn't mind upgrading. After trying out the machine after several months of disuse, the old machine worked, so we sold it. We never found out why it didn't work, but based on that, we would only give it a "good" for the time we used it. Otherwise, it would be an excellent.

The model we have now, the d300, is excellent and highly recommended. It's programmable, automatically makes the nespresso instead of having to turn the switch, and is very easy to use.
