I recently purchased the Nerf Sports Pack for the Nintendo Wii to replace a set of hard-plastic sports attachments. Although designed for the small and the clumsy (hence the softness of the attachements), the Nerf accesories are great for adults.

Most hard-plastic sports attachements have small diameter and I found myself gripping them to maintain control. The fact that they are hard plastic made that hard grip uncomfortable to boot. The Nerf Wii remote sleeve has a bigger diameter that better fits an adult hand, requiring a lighter grip and a more comfortable playing experience. It is also padded so it it more comfortable to use for extended play.

It is also very difficult to insert/remove the Wii remote from most hard-plastic sports attachements. I sometimes thought I would damage the Wii remote. With the Nerf sleeve, inserting/removing the Wii remote is a breeze. In fact, the Nerf sleeve allows full access to all the Wii remote buttons and has s hollow end to allow the Wii remote to read the senore bar AND allows you to use the Wii strap through a hole in the bottom of the remote (most hard plastic sports attachments require you to remove the strap).

As a bonus, the attachments (golf club; tennis racket; baseball bat) all attach to the Wii remote sleeve and SURPRISE actually face the correct direction (most hard-plastic sports attachments do not and can ruin your experience). For my money, the golf club is the best, it face the correct direction and in conjuction with the sleeve, you can actually use two hands to swing like a real club. The baseball bat is great, it is hefty so it feels like you are swinging a real bat; and, like the golf club you can use two hands. The tennis racket if very good with the only complaint is that it is kinda floppy but once you get used to the action, it is a very good accessory.

The real saving grace to this set, however, is the steering wheel! Again, it is thicker than most hard-plastic driving wheels and of course is a Nerf product (SOFT) so long driving simulations are more comfortable than most driving wheels. The Wii remote slides in an out of the center of the wheel effortlessly and full access to all buttons/controls are available. Like the sleeve, that side of the driving wheel is hollow so the Wii remote can easily be read by the sensor bar.

Overall, If you are looking for a quality sports attachment set for both kids and adults, the nerf Sports Pack is, in my opinion, the best one on the market today.

I love the fact that these are made with the nerf material. It's safer, for bodies AND the TV! They fit together perfectly and don't take up much room. Hightly recommend!

Easy for my 4 year old to use and loves it. She hit my 9 month old in the head by mistake and hurt nothing. No blood no foul. J/K. 9 month old just laughed. Safe and great buy.

It's fun to use. You do need more room to play so you don't hit someone with them. They are a little expensive in my opinion sense you will need two sets for a couple. Our friends play just as well or better without them mainly because they don't need to watch where their swinging like we do. But it does add some fun using them. Our friends want to get them also.

Nerf sports pack is awesome to have and its make you feel more like playing real sport. When you play baseball, its feel like you are holding a real bat and swing like you are at the game. Golf and tennis is the same way.

This older style nerf sports pack works okay, but you need to modify the hole that the strap goes through so that the buckle will fit through. I used a dremmel to make it slightly larger. The newer Nerf packs seem to have corrected this problem. We love using the golf club and tennis racket to give the games a more authentic feel. They do help you to get the positioning right. You need a set for each player, as the remote takes a couple of minutes to get into the holder, and most games require each person to use their own remote. Overall, a great product!

THIS SPORTS PAK IS THE BEST THING I BOUGHT FOR THE WII SO FAR. THE NERF IS GREAT BECAUSE I HAVE TWO CHILDREN THAN PLAY IT LIKE IT IS THE REAL DEAL. IT IS EASY TO USE AND EASY TO CHANGE FROM ONE TO THE OTHER. I DONT HAVE TO WORRY SO MUCH ABOUT THINGS GETTING BROKE BECAUSE OF THE NERF MATERIAL.

This is a nice addition to the Nintendo Wii. It makes playing the sports games seem more real & helps with alignment. However if there are more than 1 players you need additional Nerf Sports Packs so you don't have to keep exchanging the remotes out. I would recommend this to anyone who owns a Wii game.

The items do nothing to improve the game, the remotes do it all. DO you self a favor and get a memory card instead or colored skins.
