The Negotiator (DVD, 1998)

Two of the best Actors for a movie. The plot the acting is just great. This is a movie that you would and will watch more then two times, thats what I said. Not more then once, but two. It is that good. The ending will blow you away.

In the Negotiator, Kevin Spacey is a lead negotiator trying to work it out with Samuel Jackson who is also trained in negotiating. He is being accussed of wrong doing but Samuel is innocent. Great Action

Samuel L. Jackson lives and breathes his character as a wronged cop whose fighting not just for his life but for his honor as a negotiator. Kevin Spacey is a great addition as a seasoned negotiator trying to help Danny find the truth but if necessary bring Danny down if necessary. Lots of twists and turns but well worth watching this team.

The Negotiator is a great movie about police negotiator Danny Roman (Samuel L. Jackson) who is accused of murder and embezzlement. Knowing that these accusations are false and backed into a wall he finds himself in a position where he has to break the rules (and laws) in order to prove his innocence and bring the real culprits to justice. He brings in the help of fellow negotiator Chris Sabian (Kevin Spacey), whom he doesn't know but has a mutual respect for, to negotiate for the answers he so despertly needs.

The Negotiator is great action/suspense from Title to Credits. Watching this movie is a thrill ride. It kept my heart pumping till the last scene. The writers/Director of this movie knew how to manipulate your emotions to make you feel very strongly for the main character, and it makes you want to see him with a clean name and the "bad guys" brought to justice.

Every aspect of this movie is great. Great special effects: the sound, the visuals are sharp and exciting.

The acting: The chemistry between the main characters (and supporting characters) are on fire. They bring the movie to life in a way other actors would not be able to.

I remember after seeing this movie for the first time my initial reaction was: Wow........ Rewind it I want to see it again!!!!

If you have not seen the movie and you enjoy action/suspense movies I can almost guarantee that you will love this movie, if you have seen the movie, then I don't need to tell you how good it is because you already know.

Usually I wouldn't respond to other reviews but it was stated how trashy (not the exact word used) this movie is and how much different it was from when they saw it on TV, and how it offended them and their family. I understand where they are coming from, I would not want my children to watch this movie at the age they are at now, but this movie is rated R. Do not let your family (especially children) watch this if you do not want them to see violence or hear bad language. It is rated R.

This is probably one of the best movies I've seen. The negotiator (Kevin Spacey) works his way through a hostage situation against another "negotiator" (Samuel Jackson) turned rogue to try and prove his innocence in a conspiracy to prove him a criminal. Throughout the whole movie your idea of "who" the real bad guys are keeps changing - right up to the end. Plenty of action and suspense!

I have YET seen a bad Samuel L Jackson movie. This movie is CRAMMED with suspense and unexpected twists and bends. Truly a rivoting movie with PLENTY of good action. It is worth MANY good watches! I have seen it several times and NEVER even begin to get tired of it. This is a keeper for the collection.

This movie has alot of Action to it. I just love Samuel Jackson. He is a great Actor. Kevin Spacey is good in this movie also.

The Negotiator is a fairly old movie, with a lot of familiar faces. It is an adventure from start to finish, with never a dull moment. You go through the whole movie searching for the truth, a shocked when you discover it! The acting is well done, and the loyalty is amazing. Great movie, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves mystery!

What can you say about this movie, it was suspenseful, and great. Who stole the show, you just have to watch the movie to see.

this movie is one of my favorite movies of all time. It is packed with both action and drama. the best thing about this movie is the ending!! the ending is so brilliant no body could have seen it coming. it is a very good story too.

The movie has great acting, great action and is down-to-the-wire exciting. Some of language is unnecessarily harsh since the movie would have been equally good without it. eBay is a good place to buy movies since you can often buy them for less than the cost of a nation-wide chain movie rental store.

As a retired police officer, this dvd movie brought back memories and of course what could happen. I considered this dvd a thriller with a good cast and a good story line. And I bought this dvd at a good price.

I bought the DVD Moviethree weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

This movie is totally great. the acting, the plot, great line up of actors. We were very happy with this dvd.

VERY bad language. The family watched it on t.v. and it was great! Suspense, action, no bad language. Couldn't even watch the first 2 minutes of video without major words that I, nor especially children, should ever hear! Tried fast forwarding to other scenes but couldn't find any place watchable. Will not re-sell this because no one should hear that language. We will destroy it. Mjaor disappointment in Samuel L. Jackson, the director, producer, and company for making such a bad movie. Why couldn't they just leave it like it was on t.v.? None of that language was necessary.

This is one of my favorite movies. It came quickly and in very good condition. I don't think that there is anything that I dislike about it. I bought it because the price was very reasonable and so was the shipping. Thanks for a good deal.

I really enjoyed this movie. Samuel L Jackson does a great job playing the part of a top notch negotiator who is being framed by bad cops. He is forced to become a hostage taker himself in order to clear his name and get some answers as to who was framing him. Kevin Spacey comes on the scene as a neutral negotiator. He plays a huge part in bringing the bad guys down. The movie takes interesting twists and turns and will keep you on the edge of your seat rooting for Sammy J! Terrific ending! A definite must-have for your video collection!

I highly recommend this psychological action thriller movie. I tend to rewatch it quite often and when seen with others they all thought it was an excellent movie.
