From Needles To Hook by Needlecraft Shop (2002)

I thought this book would teach me how to convert knit stitches to crochet stitches for any pattern. Eventually, I might be able to figure it out! This book, while having many wonderful and teriffic looking items in it, has the most difficult crochet directions to understand EVER! The lack of benchmark information is a significant part of the problem. In addition however, the author assumes way too much. (Example: ...on the fourth row below..--does that mean four rows below or the fourth row of the pattern?) The lack of diagrams to explain makes this book prime for only the most experienced of crochet crafters! By the way, I have been crocheting since I was 8 years old-(more than 40 years) and I found this to be a challenge.
I bought this book to be able to transform any knit pattern to crochet. I think I will stick to crochet patterns only from now on.
