Need for Speed Shift (Playstation 3, 2009)

bought the game for my boyfriend and it's pretty cool! got the new maro in it too that alone pretty much makes the game :) just kidding, but definitely great! totally recommend, the only thing is that the handling is kinda weird? you gotta play it to know what i'm talking about. enjoy!

Need for Speed has the most incredible graphics in this game and the races is dynomite. My son love cars since he was 3 now he is 14 and he thinks that this game is the top of the charts. Now I have to pry his hands of the controller just to have supper. Thanks alot Need for Speed!!

great cars and long tracks.... there are a lot more things you can add to your car. it would be better it was more then one player but its cool to play online with others.

Need for Speed Shift is a glorious return to greatness (and even excellence) for EA's seminal racing franchise. Slightly Mad Studios has delivered a driving experience that, while not completely accurate in terms of its simulation aspects, is practically dead-on in terms of what it's like to race around some of the world's best racing circuits. The career mode could (and should) have been a little better, but the act of driving is basically phenomenal.

Lots of events to partake in, but the career mode won't keep you racing for hundreds of hours like some of the competition. The online is very fun, but minimal in options.

Tried the game as a rental first and immediately was hooked. The driving characteristics do differ from previous NFS games, but after a few races, loved the change. Car customization is huge. you can change paint, body kits, rims, and many engine and suspension mods. Some cars even have the Works package option which turns your ordinary fully modded car into the full blooded racer it wants to be. Only thing NFS needs to do is bring back the good old fashion police chases which this game is missing. Other than that this game is a must buy if you at all like racing games.

Need for speed is the best racing game out there. Right from the title opening to gameplay you are immersed in its spectacular graphics. You are given different options for how much control you want to have over the car. This allows for to set a game play to suit your novice level. There is an online game play where you can compete against other actual people. The different camera views give a much better perspective for what is around you. The surround sound also helps you to be able to hear when you are about to be passed. All in all a great game. If you are looking for a racing game, stop looking. This is the one for you.

I like that you can find low priced games, but I don't like the waiting, and that I forget I am winning a item then I forget and some else gets it for like a dollar more

I bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

This game rules. If you like driving simulation game this is the one very realistic including hot cars. A must have!!!!!!!!!!

This is the latest driving simulation game in the Need for Speed series and the best. I only tried it a couple of times and then gave it to my son.

Similar to NFS Pro Street we're back to the track... but this time it's a heart-racing expeirence! Literally! If you crash hard enough your heart races, your vision blurs and you have an even harder time driving (go figure). NFS has lined up a great selection of cars at your disposal from the new Chevy Camaro to the Zonda F. The track graphics are off the hook! I have yet to try the online play as I am still saturated in solo game play! I see hints of the GT 5 Prolouge in this game (the good parts of the game). If you liked NFS Pro Street you will LOVE this one. Seriously... keep your heart meds close at hand.

the price was right first of all. Very quick shipping...actually beat my ps3 here..so im really stoked to play it now!

this game is great. cant stop playing it. graphics are amazing and much better than the last need for speed. wish it was a 2 player but maybe the next one will.if you are a need for speed junky then this is a game for you.

Great game. It leaves you wanting more. I bought the game because I enjoy racing games. I only use steering wheels contollers with the system to give it a more realistic feel. Waiting for the next version of NFS. Thanks

I LOVE racing games... and I love the potential this game has, the ONLY thing I hate about this game is the cars are almost impossible to drive... something is seriously wrong with the handling of the cars... I spent hours tweaking the setup and it only helped a little... it should not be this hard to handle the car... There has to be a patch out there to help this... the car bounces around unless you are 101 % super smooth, and even then, ... also the Anti lock brakes are ridiculous, it takes a quarter miles to stop from top speed... it helped to remove this feature and go with no assist, but then the car unsettles itself under breaking and starts bouncing... I've driven plenty of simulation and arcade racing games to know there is a serious problem with this game... it's too bad...

I have played several Need For Speed games and this game definately rocks. It has a lot of realism and the graphics rock. I like the online game modes and it is very easy to get in a game instantly. Definately a worthy buy. Nice job EA.

This game is awesome. I love the first person view from the cockpit and the sense of speed is amazing. Overall a great game.

The graphics are spectacular, the car options are great, and the tracks are so real. Downfall is the time the game takes to load.
