Need for Speed Carbon (Xbox, 2006)

NFS Carbon has its good points (3 styles of cars: Tuner, Exotic and Muscle) but it lacks some of the game points that NFS Most Wanted brought to the table. There are no real penalties for losing races, it's easy to elude the cops and it's very hard to earn any "extra" money for buying additional cars. Once you've won a race you have the option to run it again but it'll only be worth $500 if you win, this makes it tough to bankroll cash.

The graphics are very nice but it would be better if some of the races were during the daylight hours install of "all dark, all the time". Career mode goes by much quicker than in NFS Most Wanted, I played last night for about 4 hours and I've alread completed about 20% of my career.

Good game, just lacks a little of the character in Most Wanted. Still worth buying but expect for the novelty to wear off quick.

LOVE IT. IT'S CHALLENGING AND FUN. IT'S LIKE ALMOST BEING BEHIND A REAL RACE CAR. GETTING AWAY FROM THE POLICE IS FUN AND CAN BE DIFFICULT AT DIFFERENT LEVELS. IT CHALLENGES YOUR SKILL AND TEACHES A BIT ABOUT RACING.

Great arcade racing style game at a good price. Graphics are the best compared to NFS most wanted & underground. But it has it's limits when it comes to customizing your car. Exhaust notes are accurate & good; not like gran turismo (where all the cars even V8s sound like 4 cylinder hondas).

After playing the last three Need for Speed games (Underground 1 & 2 & Most Wanted) they took the best aspects and blended it into a fun and challanging title. I played it on the original Xbox and the graphics are alrigth. But the game play is the part that I enjoy the most. It's responisve and unique. The drift part of the game is different than underground 1 & 2 but makes for a more realist play. Overall, it's hard yet yielding a great sense of accomploisment after each race.

This is another one of those Electronic Arts Need for Speed Releases. This game has nice story, the videos in there are excellent quality. The only thing is that the graphics are not as good as expected. It is actually less graphic then the previous release. The cars in there are nice and hooked up. Races and handling are great. Great Game, Recommended!

I have a very big passion for cars (my life is cars) so i knew i had to try this game. Everything i love about this game, the only dislike i have to say about the game it is kinda easy to beat, but beside that it is a great game to put in your Need For Speed collection.

I bought this game for my husband and he loves it because it challanges him more then any of the underground games.

My kids like this game. They wanted to add it to their collection of xbox games. They like to play these in the winter, because there isn't a lot to do when it's so cold, etc. My kids like the racing games the best. These are the only ones that they like to play.

I got this for a great price and havent played much but so far this game is awesome. I would higly recommend this game to anyone that has a passion for racing and ability to push yourself to keep trying and never give up

I decide to buy this product for my 15 year old son. He has a xbox and was dying to play this game on it. He loves it very much. I have no complains. I would reccommend this game to anyone. It's a used game and it has no scratch, its like brand new.

This is a awesome game. Car reacing, chases, etc. The best part is to trick out your ride. This is definitely a game for the race enthusiast.

I enjoy racing games and have the other Need For Speed games. They attract my attention for hours while playing plus there aren't many game you can run from the cops and get away with it

I have to admit it was a fun game to play, but like stated before, the career is too short. And in my opinion NFS: Most Wanted is better, but this game is worth giving a try.
