I work in a field of nanotechnology, in particular I am interested in optical studies of nano-objects. This book gives a nice introduction into light-matter interaction at a nanoscale, explains the principles of near-field optics from both theoretical and experimental points of view.
I recommend this book everyone who wants to study optical phenomena of nanometer-scale size objects.
