This is my grandkid's (ages 2 and 4) favorite book. I have read it to them so many times they almost have it memorized, and never seem to tire of hearing it read again. They are able to complete the phrases as I read it to them, and other times sit and 'read' it to themselves. It not only teaches the alphabet, but also what words rhyme.
The pictures are colorful, humorous and interesting. The story is about 26 (one for each letter of the alphabet) little monkeys who are tucked into bed and supposed to go to sleep while their human parents leave for the evening. Instead, they get into all kinds of mischief.

) My two little boys love this book. WE had a copy that was read so often it eventually fell apart, so i ordered another copy. It is a very fun and educational book.

Entertaining & educational book about the alphabet!Review created: 02/02/08

I bought the book "Naughty Little Monkeys" for my youngest daughter, because she repeatedly checked it out of the school library. It is a wonderful book about the alphabet that using rhyming and visual pictures to teach them the alphabet. It is also a bonus, because she loves monkeys. The book is not only wonderful, but it came with an audio cd that she can listen to while we travel or when she visits grandma! I would highly recommend this to anyone who has preschoolers and would like a fun and educational way to learn the alphabet. The only thing I can honestly say that I dislike is that the book is paperback and not a hardcover.
