In an effort to bring honor to his family name and cure his undying curiosity- Nicholas Cage has been on a real life long treasure hunt for the "National Treasure" - a collection of historical artifacts of infinite value.
The movie never slows down- so make sure you've got your drink and popcorn ahead of time-- or you'll be hitting pause! The action is fast paced and fun, involving (of course) a romantic heroine and rounding many of fabulous historical United State Sites! (the scenery in this one alone is worth it- as they were allowed to shoot from viewpoints we will never truly get to see (inside the signing room in Independence Hall, On top of the Bell Tower)
Be wure to catch the extras on the DVD including a treasure hunt of your own. When you solve the puzzles (not difficult) more menu optiona open up. WRITE THEM DOWN. You'll be glad you did.
Thrilling, funny, and non-stop action-- this one's a keeper!
