This movie is, in my opinion, the most hilarious movie ever produced by National Lampoon. Although the Vacation movies are more recognized Class Reunion beats them in almost every way. If this movie had a topless scene with Beverly D'Angelo it would be the only National Lampoon movie you would ever need to watch. :)
If you graduated high school at least 15 years ago then I promise this is the movie for you. I howled the first time I saw it, yet my wife found it amusing but not side-splitting funny. The next time she watched it was a completely different response. She saw things she missed the first time or something clicked but now she is like me and rates this as one of the best movies in our collection.
The humor is vintage National Lampoon; sophomoric at times and risque all the time. The movie is full of classic lines such as when the class president whines "My father did not spend all that money to keep me out of Viet Nam for me to die at my high school reunion!"
When you watch this movie, don't try to be a critic and punch holes in the storyline or plot or characters. It's National Lampoon! Remember you are going to watch the 10 year reunion of the class of 1972 or Lizzie Borden High. Just sit back and go with it... I assure you that you will be glad you did.

THIS IS A FUNNY MOVIE. ALOT OF THE CHARACTERS IN HERE COULD BE PEOPLE FROM A REAL HIGH SCHOOL CLASS. THERE ARE ALOT OF WEIRD PEOPLE IN HIGH SCHOOL.

) It is a very hilarous movie and I like movies that are funny or humorous. You can't find too many films from that timeframe that offer the humor this one did. It is defintely a movie I would recommend for purchasing if you like humor from the early 80s.

so-so - with a few funny partsI remember seeing this mopvie several years ago and I remember how I liked the parodies. It is a typical National Lampoom movie with no surprises. But if you are looking for a movie you don't have to think about, or are in the mood for a silly comedy then you will enjoy watching this movie on those occations

I enjoyed it as a teenager but now I could do without. Have a few funny moments and plenty of colorful characters including a spell casting witch.
The teens from Lizie Bordon highschool play a trick on one of their classmates and years later at their reunion, they begin being killed off one by one...in a National Lampoon kind of way, of course. I enjoyed the dance sequence. Might not be for all tastes...but if you enjoy comedies like Airplane and Naked Gun, you may get a kick out of it.
