Nothing too groundbreaking here. You may get a little more history on the writer of the book, J.R.R. Tolkien, but as far as the film goes, everything on this program is on the special features of the DVD (Return of the King).
This was not a bad program, but I don't see any reason to buy this when you can just buy The Lord of the Rings and get this type of documentary with the movie.
