The events that happen during the Chunin exam will affect what happens for the next 100 episodes. These are the must see Naruto episodes! New friendships and alliances will be made. Others will be broken, possibly beyond the point of no return.
I do not think Naruto is a great anime, it's not even in my top 5 favorites. I like the show, I just don't think it is great. I've seen the entire first series (over 200 episodes). The best storyline in my opinion happens on these DVDs. Believe it!
