Narnia Chronology by C. S. Lewis, Pauline Baynes (1994, Hardcover, Reissue)

These are the best children's books ever written--and that from a children's book lover, collector and teacher : ). Lewis' fantasy series (7 books that should be read in the original published order, beginning with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) takes us out of this world and into the land of Narnia, where animals talk, mythical creatures are real, and best of all, the Lion Aslan rules as the loving creator and caretaker (a Christ figure). Beautifully written with grace and humor. Lewis understood a child's mind so well! Further up and further in!

The complete hardback collection of the Narnia books with black and white illustrations. Beautiful collection and very affordable. I had been wanting the collection for many years but, I could either never find hardback copies or each book was sold separately for about 20 dollars. They were never something I could get my hands on, much less afford.

Then a work friend told me about Half.com and I fell in love. This is a great product and was exactly what I was looking for. Great quality, gently used, and NO folded pages (I can't stand it when the pages are folded). It is a little more worn than other items I've gotten from Half but I chose to go the cheaper route and the product I got is just fine!

I have loved the Chronicles of Narnia since I took a children's literature class in college. I received a paper backed set of the books for graduation. These books have fallen apart from use. I am so pleased to have them in a hard backed copy.
