A favorite from my early mommy days . . .

Audrey Wood is a favorite author of mine, and this book has been a favorite in our house since my children happened to check it out at a weekly sojourn to the library years ago. The book starts dark and rainy and as the book progresses, the sun comes out, and the world is alive with sunlight and a happy grandmother-grandson pair! The pile of animals were what charmed my children. All of us are cat lovers, and the cat's face when he is thumped by the dog is priceless!
All of my children are grown now, but now there are grandsons who need to fall in love with this book. I'm on the way!!!
