Excellent book. I collect cookbooks, and have a special interest in italian ones. I am italian american and love the food of that country. This book is a bit different from the usual. It focuses on the regional cooking of campania, and historical facts, along with stories from the author. A delightful read. Some of the recipes really intrigued me, as my grandparents were from naples, and there were dishes that I had never heard of. A must have for southern italian food lovers.
