After listening to the Audio version of Nanny Diaries I can only wonder why a woman would subject herself to such bizaar life. Makes me feel sad for not only the small children but for their social surroundings. I now feel wonderfully happy that I raised my three children in a home surrounded by neighbors and family. How anyone could find this funny... completely alludes me.

read it a few times and loved it everytime. Lets you see how the real nanny world can be and usally is. Can't wait to see the movies and more books from the author!

I got this because of the movie that just came out. but the real story is that julia roberts makes this book come to life. she gives a unique voice to the characters individually especially the children. when the little boy has a fit you really understand his agony. this is a must. FIVE STARS
