The Nanny Diaries by Emma McLaughlin, Nicola Kraus (2003, Paperback, Reprint)

I keep reading waiting for the big blow out or something, it just ended. I felt like it was a waist of my time, but I could not stop reading it , I just thought the next page would have wow factor.

While I know that some people have to "suck it up" in order to remain employed, I found the book enjoyable, but disappointing in how wishy washy Nanny remained throughout.

I'm looking forward to seeing the movie. I can picture Scarlett Johannson as Nanny.

This book was written well, many stories in the book happened to many of my friends. It's a must read for anyone wanting to venture into this career. If nothing else it really shows you how important it is to stick up for yourself, and when you need to move onto another family if it's not working. A great read either way

I read this book when it first was published and enjoyed it so much that I loaned it out to friends and family. In doing so the book was became lost to me.
I saw it on ebay and re-bought it so I could read it again before I go and see the movie, and so I can have a copy to keep.
