Nancy Drew Starter Set by Carolyn Keene (2000, Hardcover)

I'm a counselor at a behavioral school. I bought this set to add to the school's library. This set is a great addition and the books were checked out as soon as they were added to the library. The only downside to this set is that there is only a few books, and the students would love to have the whole Nancy Drew collection.

MY GRANDDAUGHTER IS STARTING 1ST GRADE AND WANTED IT SO WE GET TOGETHER WEEKLY AND READ TOGETHER. SHE SEEMS TO REALLY LIKE NANCY DREW. I THINK ITS A GREAT START TO WET HER APPETITE TO BE A READER!

These books are an old time favorite and basicly good stories. I have a seven year old grand-daughter who is a wiz at reading. It is difficult to find challanging books that are not too old for her.

I purchased Nancy Drew for my daughter who loves to read. She was hesitant about the Nancy Drew books, since they were new to her, but once she started reading them she couldn't stop. Great series for Elementary School readers. My daughter just finished 2nd grade but reads at a 4th - 5ht grade level.

I bought this set of books for my 7 yr old granddaughter for 1st grade graduation.
She loves to read & is quite advanced for her age, so I figured this would be something for her to do over summer vacation. I read most all of the Nancy Drew books when I was young & Loved Them! You don't have to worry about any negative behavior suggestions in any of these books. Granddaughter has already started reading one & loves it. Makes young gals become attentive to surroundings & want to become a detective.

I purchased this set for my oldest daughter. She loves Nancy Drew and loves the set! Sh is trying to collect all Nancy Drew books. She loves all the series.

Nancy Drew Books will never go out of style.....it's good clean reading and fun. I bought the starter set for my granddaughter's 8th birthday, and I look forwarding to reading some of the books with her.

My niece was going to turn nine and decided she is too old for toys. She wanted books for her birthday. I remember reading these books as a young girl and how much I enjoyed them. I felt that this would be an excellent gift that I could add to with each special occasion that requires gift giving. What was also exciting, was the Nancy Drew movie came out around the time of her birthday as well, so we saw the movie and then she received the books. She was very excited.
