I thought this was a very well done classic movie based on the Carolyn Keene Mystery Novels. Bonita Granville is excellent in the role of Nancy Drew and really gives the story character. This is a classic movie from 1939 that is well worth watching and having!

Nothing like the later wimped out fifties versions, this was a girl doing things girls didn't do, in ways girls didn't do things, in an era when women drivers were still rare. A great look back at history, a great transfer from film to DVD, and a window unto the past.
