Nancy Drew: The Haunted Carousel (PC Games, 2003)

I've played all of the Nancy Drew games except #1, 2 and 6. This one was fun, better than the older ones as you actually get a task list and journal to use. The cell phone is nice too, beats having to travel all the way back to one location to call around for information. There weren't very many puzzles in this one, but the ones they did have were challenging. Also, it seemed shorter than some of the newer games (longer than Kapu Cave though, that one was very short!). I would definetly recommend getting this game though, especially if you've already played some of the other games in the series.

If you are new to Nancy Drew PC games, I would recommend starting on #1 and working your way up to the newest one, as it gets really annoying when you work backwards and don't have access to items that are pretty standard in the newer games. Instead of thinking "jeez I wish I had this or that", you will go to the next game and be pleased with the additions. If you didn't have the benefit of it before, you won't miss it!

Could not find this one in the stores so a friend suggested I go on E-Bay I did and here I am saying what a wonderful mystery. Thank-you very much....

I enjoy all of the Nancy Drew games i have, actually i really enjoyed The Haunted Carousel i would recommend any/all of Nancy Drew games for anyone who enjoyed mystery games. LOVE, LOVE, Nancy Drew Games.

it keeps both daughters' entertained 10 and 13. But mostly my 13 year old really loves it allot!! My thirteen year old loves mystery books and some scary. She don't even won't to go to bed, she says this game is so great. She has enjoyed it allot since my purchase. I bought this game for my 8 year old daughter. She also has the Secret of Shadow Ranch, and absolutely loved it, so I thought I would try another in the series...Again, she LOVES this one. I have requested from her grandparents for her birthday to get her another of the set..these are perfect for older kids and momma's too!! :)

i bought this game for my 14 yr old daughter. She really enjoyed the challenge of it and the satisfaction of solving the mystery. I plan on purchasing more of the nancy drew series for her.

My daughter really wanted this for Christmas. Most people had it listed but were out of it. She finally got and was very happy.

The game is great: I am trying to collect all of the pc versions of Nancy Drew games. I have always loved the Nancy Drew books when I was a kid, the pc games make me think and use my problem solving skiils to keep them fresh.

I liked the 2 parallel story lines and the family history. Game was easy to navigate. It was one of the better Nancy Drew games we have played. However, its one of the easier games - so it doesnt take as much time to solve.

The Haunted Carousel is another enjoyable entry in the Nancy Drew series of games. It's pretty typical of the other games in the series, though it is probably the least "scary" of the creepy ones. It also seems to be one of the shorter games in the series. Still, a worthwhile entry, plenty of fun and mystery, just don't look to be "spooked" by this one.

Received the merchandise a month, and three emails, after winning. Recommend to all buyers of this seller to use PayPal only. They were unable to find my money order in the "stack' without invoice numbers written on them, even though I had sent the invoice with the payment. Got some really nasty responses from them. I won't buy from them again.

My son totally loved this game. He is younger than 10 but was able to do the majority of this game on his own compared to some of the other Nancy Drew games.

I really enjoyed the Haunted Carosel, as always Nancy Drew pc games are the bomb!!!!! I absolutely loved the boxed package that the game arrived in. there were no scratches on the cd, so the game was a joy to play.
