Atari's Nancy Drew games have everyone reliving the famous girl detective's adventures, and with the NANCY DREW DOUBLE DARE 2 COMPILATION, players can investigate two exciting mysteries. The compilation includes two previously released games: THE HAUNTED CAROUSEL and DANGER ON DECEPTION ISLAND.
In DANGER ON DECEPTION ISLAND, Nancy and her friends are invited to Deception Island by George's friend Katie Firestone for whale watching. However, Katie's boat is found vandalized, and then a note turns up telling her to stop meddling. Nancy soon learns the note refers to an Orca whale that has taken up residence in the channel near the town. As Nancy Drew, players explore a fully-interactive environment while searching for clues and solving puzzles to discover who is behind the treats and what Katie is really up to.
THE HAUNTED CAROUSEL sends Nancy to the Captain's Cove Amusement Park, where a roller coaster accident and a missing carousel horse have officials baffled. As players explore the park and meet its assortment of odd inhabitants, including a girl with a robot friend, they will solve puzzles and unravel riddles that will lead them to the mystery of the park's former owner and the man who created the carousel. Players who enjoy a good mystery or want to experience Nancy Drew's world themselves will enjoy playing through both mysteries.
