Nancy Drew Dossier: Lights, Camera, Curses! (PC Games, 2008)

Nancy Drew and 'Her Interactive' have done it again. They've created another great series of Nancy Drew merchandise that we've all grown to love. I must admit that at first glance, I didn't give this game much attention as it was not a style of play that I was interested it nor found appealing; I thought it was too childish and too easy. BUT!! as a true Nancy Drew fan, I gave it a try and WOW, was I impressed. The game is play is so easy and the story line is both funny and interesting. It's a big change from the hands on detective work where you have to find the clues and solve the mystery using only your wits and instinct; was so frustrating when you got stuck and could not progress until you got out of the jam.
This is not the case with this game. You never get stuck, but you don't breeze through the games and challenges either. I really found it refreshing and a nice change from the hands on approach that is so typical of Nancy Drew adventures. A really fun game for people of all ages. I really cannot wait to get my hands on the other dossier series games if they were as great and fun as this one. I can honestly say that you'd be hard pressed not to like this game, even if you're like me and at first don't think much of it. It really will leave you pleasantly surprised!.
Another gem by Her Interactive and a great continuation of Nancy Drew adventures with a refreshing and enjoyable twist.
