i like movie like this one? charleton heston plays a great part. the plot is very easy to follow the action is great. just a good movie ?

A great movie to watch because it places Heston in such a vulnerable role. Wonderful for those who still like a real love story. Highly recommend to those who aren't faint of heart from creepy crawlies but the plot makes them worthwhile.

I liked it because I like 50's movies. No moral issue or causes, its just a good story, pure entertainment. Also am a fan of Eleanor Parker, and she was lovely in this.

I adore old time flicks like this. Charleton Heston was and is one of my all time movie heros. We lost a good one when he passed away not too long ago. This is one of my favorite movies with CH. Check it out if you have never seen it. And Eleanor Parker is as great as ever in it too.

this is the movie that made me a Charlton Heston fan, he has been My favorite ever since, it shows how a man can have a narrow outlook ,when he gets a wife whos been married before,and he wanted everything he had to be new.he finds out new isn;t always best, falls in love and it ends beautifully. did not like the voracious ants. don't think I would ever want to go there. great movie

Saw this movie back in the 50's and loved it then, was pretty scary at the time with all the ants, but Heston was showing true form as a star. When I saw it was now out on DVD had to have it.

They just don't make movies like they use to. Watching a Heston is such a pleasure.This movies plot is so unusual. How they made this film required much talent. The object of this movie was about ants,billions of them. Amazing!

I purchased this movie because I had seen it in the early 50's. I was a kid at the time and thought the movie was an excellent adventure story. As an older adult today I still find it entertaining as I do many of the movies made during that period. In a sense the movie is an epic kind of story with a cast of millions.

This is a movie taken from a short story called Leinegen and the Ants which shows up in many sophmore English Books. Its why I bought it. Hokey Dialogue and effects make the kids smile.
