According to the press kit, the filmmakers asked several of Hollywood's most famous stars to make cameo appearances in the Academy Award scene. A few agreed but the majority declined. Director Peter Segal is the biggest new addition to this series. "Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult" is Segal's first film.
Supermodel Anna Nicole Smith makes her motion picture debut with "Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult." The blond bombshell is most well known as the Guess? Jeans model and as Playboy's 1993 Playmate of the Year.
Former football player O. J. Simpson, who was featured in the previous "Naked Gun" films, formed his own production company in 1978. He has been a producer as well as an actor. Additional acting credits include: "Capricorn One," "The Cassandra Crossing," "The Klansman" and "The Towering Inferno."
