Nadia (DVD, 2007)

I used to watch this movie over and over as a kid, and have been looking for it as an adult with no sucssses. Finally found it here, and was very excited. I had no problems at all buying the movie, and the movie came in about 5 days! It was brand new, still in the package, and the actual movie quality was GREAT! It was a great experience for me, although my husband would disagree for himself, since the movie has been on everyday since recieving it!! =)

I love this movie !!! I watched it all the time as a little girl. As soon as I put this movie on all my older sisters ran to the living room. My whole family sat down to watch it! It was nice! My Sisters Daughter loves it too now!

I LOVE GYMNASTICS THE STAR OF THE MOVIE WAS WONDERFUL. AT THE TIME SHE HAD APERFECT 10 SCORE SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE TO DO THAT. IT IS JUST A GREAT ALL AROUND MOVIE.

Very good doesn't matter how old is this movie it is still good and high level Gymnastic.I used to wathed wen I was 13 and broght me good memories.

I ordered Nadia and when it arrived I could not wait to open and see it. It did they a while for me to recieve it but when I did I was very pleased with the product.

I love this movie. I'm so glad they put it out on DVD. I watch it when ever they play it on tv but I could never catch it from the begining.

This "Nadia" DVD was an awesome purchase for me because I looked for this movie everywhere and had no luck at all; That is until I finally decided to look on ebay. I am so thankful to have found this DVD. Much thanks!!

The film follows Nadia from childhood through the 1980 Olympics, and along the way chronicles her battles with her coaches, depression and the lack of a "normal" childhood. Highlights include actual footage of Nadia at the Montreal Olympics (when she got the first perfect 10).

Great price & product I absolutely loved it!!! I would recommend this DVD to anyone for their viewing epecially if they have children involved in competetive gymnastics

I loved it as a kid, and I love it now. I look forward to watching it with my kids in a few years. If you remember the tv movie and if it made you a gymnist at heart, then you should keep the feeling on by watching Nadia again and again.

This is a wonderful story of the struggles and triumphs of Romanian Super Gymnast, Nadia Comaneci! What an amazingly inspiring movie of the determination it takes to get to the top, then the courage and strength it takes to return to competition once you've fallen down! It centers mostly on the relationship between Nadia and her now famous coach, Bela Karolyi, who also coached the awesome Marylou Retton. My favorite part of the movie is when she at the Olympics in Montreal, and they use the actual footage of Nadia Comaneci, as she competed in these Olympics, doing the routine that earned her the first perfect 10 in Olympic history! A wonderful movie for the whole family!

I watched this film as child. I always wanted to have it so I bought it. Very Happy with the product.

I liked this movie except I bought it for my 7 year old daughter who loves gymnastics. I dont think parts of it were appropriate for her to watch (the ending) as it deals alot with weight issues :<)

We skipped a lot of those parts. We will let her watch those parts when she is a bit older.

The plot is well structured, I really liked the actresses who performed Nadia and Teodora characters, the gymnastics choreographies were nice and kind of believable, but the actor who played the role for Bela, was awful, such a weak and clown-like personality hardly reflects Karolyis'r real behavior, it's an eighties movie and you can't expect more than what you get from it.

I receive my movie quickly and without problems!!! I just have to say thank you for the excellent service... when I need it I will be back him! :)

Years ago I watched the movie "Nadia" on television and fell in love with the little girl who had so much determination to WIN. Although some of the problems she had with drug use were not portrayed, the challenges Nadia faced in her life to become the Number One gymnist from her Communist country, showed her amazing strength and stamina. Her successes did not come easily. This true story is a good example to show young people what it takes to be the best. A great family movie, and I highly recommend it.

I'm very happy for the DVD of nadia but the son is little bad it's a little little litle problem! :o)

I found it to be motivating and inspirational during a tough time in my life...

This move will always be a classic to me (^_^)

my wife wanted to see the movie about nadia so we looked for it and we found it on ebay. we put a bid on the movie and we won! so it was a great experiance, the bidding, the winning, and then waiting for the dvd to arive and when it did we watched it.
i think we would have payed a lot more if we would have bought it any other way...

I ordered the Nadia video for an International Night my school was having. I had a strict deadline to turn my room "into" Romania. I ordered the video 11 buisness days prior to needing it and the shipping info stated that it would take 6-10 days to arrive. I made special mention on my order that 11 days was my maximum deadline and how important this video was to my first graders. The video arrived several days past the 11 day deadline and well after their shipping window. My class and I were very disappointed.

What's not to like about Nadia Comaneech (no idea how to spell that)? It's a travesty that she was kicked off of Celebrity Apprentice as she was dominating that first episode.
