NHRA: Countdown to the Championship (PlayStation 2, 2007)

Game is very realistic, best drag racing game out, very addictive. You feel like you are there. Would definitley recommend!

Finally somebody has brought realistic professional drag racing to console games. I loved the first edition, NHRA Championship Drag Racing, but it was short lived. The fact that so many ridiculous times were possible kept you a interested a little longer than you probably should have been. Now that THQ is making the game, Countdown to the Championship is definitely the ultimate drag racing game. You actually have to steer and tune these cars, just like the pros do it. Get out of the groove and you're done, same as real life. This game will actually make the drag racing enthusiast think about what he, or she, needs to do each and every time down the track. The addition of the Pro Stock Bike category is definitely a plus as well. If you love drag racing, this is definately the console game for you!

It's like real drag racing,real cool graphics,I had to buy one to replace one that I let my brother try and he bought mine!!!

Its one of the best drag racing games i have played. Its sounds are very realistic and you can tune a ton of different stuff. Recomended!

i love drag racing i have the first nhra game you gotta love the nhra go hard go home it has great graphics it is very fun to play

This game is fun(for $10) but has it's faults. The other drivers are way to easy to beat. Your car does not react to your tune-up in a real world way. Almost impossible to get tire shake when in the groove. Would love to see a more realistic version in the future.

I love the game. My son has a psp and absolutely loves it, so my other children wanted the game for the ps2.

Awesome game, just like the real deal!!! great grafics, just a little dificult to tune the cars but there is the challenge...

My husband loves this game. The graphics on it are great and if you have surround sound=====you will almost be able to smell the tire smoke!!!
