NFL Head Coach 09 (Playstation 3, 2008)

This is an OK game if you like NFL games. I enjoyed the game. I would recommend this game to people who enjoy NFL games only.

For the gamer that likes to do the off season tasks like: The draft, free agents, trades ect.... This is the game for you. Addicting game. Must have patience to play the game is kind of slow moving game, yet is still very fun.

very boring and a pointless game unless you think your going to learn to be a head coach through this game

This is a decent game, perhaps for the price I paid it was worth it. I love the NFL but this game is played through the eyes of technicalities. The interactiveness (if that's a word) falls very short of stimulating. The graphics are what you would expect from EA SPORTS accurate and seamless, but the actual objective is not for me. I suppose if you were a "die-hard" football fan who didn't get enough out of playing as the team, in a regular football video game, you might enjoy it. Over all I rate it Ok.

Overall great coaching game...But dont get all warm and fuzzy on the couch curling up to a spot of coffee or Red Bull.You will be up in a matter of hours with many game freeze screens.Besides you having to get off your rump at any given time this game has a lot to offer.I chose the Lions so of course I wasnt happy with my picks last season ....So they let me redraft my way...after Mendenhall here and Ryan there I was on my way. Great game with so many options just a little dicey at first. I gave it a 4 out of five.

I bought this thinking that it would be similar to john madden game but was very disappointed to find it was not.

The game came in and was as advertised in original packaging. Received the game in a timely manner. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

I actually like the first of the series, but this one would not load or just plane would lock up and I had to reset all the time. I only got 1 season out of the game and then nothing. Hope the next in the series is better

i dislike that you dont run the plays you just call them so it really teaches you how to make the calls and say you play madden you take what you learned from there and use it on other football games

I love Madden, liked the first Head Coach, but hate this version. No audibles? Defensive personnel information always wrong. Can't stop anyones passing game even with a great defense. Playbooks are horrible. You can't make contract offers, only pick from a list of options. At least three players get hurt every game. I'm very disappointed with this game.

i never got the games ,mailman left the games at the door when i wasnt home and somebody took gamesfrom my app. door so i guess that was my falt 4 not being home and going 2 work i havnt got a responce from company .be careful

I think this is a fun game,, getting your team ready, picking your own free agents, managing the salary cap, picking the plays and watching your team either do goood or not so good

I guess if your really into x's and o's... you'd like it... the off the field stuff is detailed but during the games its pretty much madden but only calling plays... and not playing... not very fun in the long run... its basicly what maddens franchise should be but playing on the field also

Well if you liked the first head coach then you should like this one. It is along the same lines but much better. The game makes more sense and the players move better. The draft and FA bidding are good. The faster pace makes for a better game.

It's a fun game is your are patient and have time to really play it through. The off season and during the week is a long process. But it is fun dealing with the everyday grind of the game.

is a pretty good game if you like a simulation game and being a coach and calling all the play and stuff

Haven't played it yet because it was purchased as a gift. Seller did a super job and delivery was so quick. I decided to buy it because the person it is intended for happens to be a serious NFL fan and he just bought the Madden 09 DVD.

NFL Head Coach 09 is a very good game to learn how to operate and control a NFL football team and franchise. From the makers of EA Sports, and very similar with the looks and graphics of the Madden Franchise. You learn different strategy's to play the upcoming team and make your playbook accordingly. You can even design plays and use the same playbook with the Madden franchise. An excellent game to learn all the operations, tactics, signing of coaches, everything that a general manager and owner would do. Well worth the money spent.

Slow pace, some actions goes too fast, some are too slow, very inequal game. more downs than ups. not recomended unless u are really bored and love football way too much, but then madden, is the solution.

dont waste ur money, rented, get bored, bring it back.

My opinion.

Pits ones gaming skills against their mental chess skills. Makes one consider the TRUE aspects of the NFL game and not going for it on 4th and 47. A thinkers game, with loads of fun.

Lots of improvements to game play from the original. Moves along good and has a lot of player involvement in game. Thought the actual game play was better visualy on original game. But the other improvements make up for it. Looking forward to next gen. in game series.

Very slow play, not much action. Not for me. It took too long to get anything done. The concept is good but it needs to be punched up and made more exciting.
