NFL: Greatest Games Series - Dallas Cowboys 10 Greatest Games (DVD)

Seller sent me the DVD boxset and when i opened it there was a pair of broken glasses in it. Have contacted seller but noone has replied.Awful transaction.

This DVD collection of the NFL's Greatest Games series is a great deal for Cowboys fans. What you will get in this DVD set is 10 games as they were originally broadcasted by the network that aired the games. This includes five Super Bowls including the statement making Super Bowl XXVII where the Cowboys defense forced a still standing (as of 2009) 9 turnovers against the Buffalo Bills breaking their own record of 8 set in Super Bowl XII against the Denver Broncos. Also included is Super Bowl VI which the Cowboys administered the Dolphins final loss before their next one which occured in week 2 of the 1973 season to Oakland (not included), Super Bowl XXVIII against Buffalo, and Super Bowl XXX against Pittsburgh.

In addition to the five Super Bowls, fans can also enjoy two regular season games against the Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings in which one is a major comeback. Also included are three of the last four NFC Championship games played by the Cowboys. This includes the 1993 game played at San Francisco.

If you are looking for a good deal, buying this DVD will cost you about $4 per game but is worth it when it comes to history on the gridiron. If you can't stomach NFL greatness, don't buy this set, otherwise this set is a great collection of games that will leave the fan asking for more via the NFL Network.

I am not a Dallas Cowboys fan! But this collection of games is the very best collections of games that I have seen. The time chronology covers the Dallas Cowboys from 1972 in Superbowl VI to their Win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1996 in Superbowl XXX.
This really gives a history and time frame of the success of the Dallas Cowboys.
(There is a boxed set of the Green Bay Packers that is out there, with the Packers being one of the NFL's most successful franchises as well, but the oldest game that boxed set is from October of 1983 when the Packers beat the Washington Redskins 48-47 in one of the highest scoring games in NFL history, but other than that, most of the games in that Packers boxed set are from the middle 1990's to early 2000 and evolves ONLY on Bret Farve. The Packers had won the first two Superbowls and played in the famous ICE BOWL game from the year 1967 against the Dallas Cowboys. So those are three more games that would have been nice to have had added them to that boxed set.)
But Getting back to this Dallas Cowboys collection, I added this to my collection because I had a really courious about these games and WAS really facinated to see what history and tradition the Dallas Cowboys have had for their nearly 50 years of exsistance!The View quality of the 1972 Superbowl is fair, the other qualities of the rest of the dvds are really great for viewing. The "hail Mary game pass" and the Atlanta Come back games are really action filled and really look good! (They and the Dallas Texans flipped a coin to who would stay in Dallas and the Texans(AFL) lost and they relocated to Kansas City in 1963)!
