NEC’s commercial plasmas incorporate innovative features and cutting-edge technologies that make for best-in-class picture quality and accurate image reproduction. The advanced imaging technology employed in the PlasmaSync 42VP5 eliminates jagged lines and corrects color bleeds to create clear and defined images. All-digital video processing allows for artifact and noise-free video. Gamma 12 provides the exceptionally high color processing at 68.7 billion colors (4096 steps), resulting in increased detail in any viewing environment. You can mount the display horizontally or vertically for landscape or portrait viewing, whichever suits your needs. An anti-glare filter system maintains image brightness and contrast where direct ambient light is present. VGA, DVI, composite and component video inputs give you total control over your display, while a DB9 serial port allows for command of the display from a control system.
