NBA Los Angeles Lakers 1985 Champions: Return to Glory (DVD, 2007, 7-Disc Set)

I loved watching this series the first time around so it was great to see it again. Granted not all of the first game is on the DVD but all the rest of the games are there. It is great to be able to watch it anytime I want. I loved watching Magic and Kareem and Worthy play. Games were fast back then. They even have an extra DVD which features Chick and various interviews of the players.
It is well worth it.

After the Memorial Day Massacre,and losing the 1984 NBA Finals in 7 games to the Celtics,the Lakers looked done for....They take 4 out of the next 5 to FINALLY beat the Celtics in the NBA Finals!!!!

It's wonderful to finally have the complete series of this historic rivalry on DVD to watch over and over. The Lakers finally defeat the Celtics and on their home court. I loved watching Magic and Kareem growing up and now I can share it with my kids.

That Lakers-Celtics rivalry of the 80's is one of the greatest of all time, I'm glad I'm just old enough to remember it. This is a great idea by David Stern and the NBA to put these series on DVD. Now the 84 series has to be next, that one went 7.

Wow, what a difference a couple of decades makes in quality of ball handling and multiple skill players. However, big men still make big difference! MVP Kareem rises to the top!
